Diver on reefWhy Take Up Recreational Scuba Diving?

Recreational scuba diving is one of the few pastimes to encompass exploration, adventure and excitement. With two thirds of the planet covered in water, the modern scuba diver has endless opportunities to explore a world which promises to fascinate and delight every time.

Travel companies are developing packages to many exotic places of the world. More holidaymakers want to take advantage of the fact that scuba diving is available. Instead of watching the beautiful sea life of the reefs and wrecks on television, they now want to experience the wonder first hand. However, once they learn to dive, they realise that even around the coasts of Britain the sea life is splendid and only by seeing it first hand can it be really appreciated.

So, whether you have had some diving experience or whether you are thinking about joining a Club to learn how to dive, you will want to know something about our Club and its standards.
